Richard F. Betz

Richard F. Betz has served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company since October of 2020.  Mr. Betz also serves on the Board of Directors of the Company, having first been appointed in January of 2020.  Prior to his involvement with the Company, Mr. Betz served as Chief Executive Officer of Resolute Energy Corporation, an NYSE listed oil and gas exploration and production company, from 2017 until its merger with Cimarex Energy in March of 2019. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Betz served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Resolute. Mr. Betz was a founder of Resolute in 2004. Prior to founding Resolute, Mr. Betz spent seventeen years with Chase Manhattan Bank, Chase Securities Inc. and its successor companies, where he was involved primarily in oil and gas corporate finance. Mr. Betz received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University in 1984 and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.
