Shaler N. Tate

Shaler N. Tate has served as Vice President and the Controller of the Company since March 2020. Mr. Tate was formerly an Operations Advisor for Diamondback Energy from August 2019 until February 2020. Prior to his time with Diamondback Energy, Mr. Tate served as an Operations Accounting Manager and Revenue Analysis Manager for Concho Resources after the 2018 merger with RSP Permian, Inc. Mr. Tate served as the Operations Controller for RSP Permian, Inc. from June 2015 until August 2018 when the merger with Concho Resources became official. Prior to his appointment as the Operations Controller at RSP Permian, Inc., Mr. Tate spent the first seven years of his career with ConcoPhillips Company in a variety of roles spanning 4 different cities that included business unit and international assignments. Mr. Tate received a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in both Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Texas – Permian Basin in 2021. Additionally, Mr. Tate is a licensed Accredited Petroleum Accountant (APA) and an active member of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS).
