Michael D. Rumon

Michael D. Rumon has served as Senior Vice President, Senior Technical Officer for the Company since October 2020. Prior to his time at the Company, Mr. Rumon worked at Centennial Resource Development, Inc. from 2016 until early 2020. He held numerous positions including Exploitation Manager and Corporate Planning Manager. In those roles Mr. Rumon was instrumental in establishing Centennial as a leading technical and horizontal development company in the Delaware Basin. Prior to Centennial, Mr. Rumon held various geologic roles at Resolute Energy from 2011 through 2016. At Resolute he was responsible for supporting exploration, A&D, and the development of Resolute’s Permian Basin assets. This included the establishment, growth and development of Resolute’s Reeves County horizontal development assets focused on the Wolfcamp and Bone Spring formations. He began his career at Encana where he spent five years as a geologist focused on unconventional tight-gas sands and shale exploration and development in the Rockies and Permian Basin. Mr. Rumon holds both a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines.
